What titles will Kambosos be fighting for when he faces Davis?

Brisbane-based fighter George Kambosos has been making waves within the boxing community after he issued a warning to undefeated champion Gervonta Davis. Kambosos, who is set to face Davis for the WBA, WBC, and IBF lightweight titles in October, has boldly declared that he is not one to be underestimated in the ring. In a recent interview, the Australian fighter made it clear that he is determined to upset Davis’ perfect record and become the next big thing in boxing.

In an interview with FightHype, Kambosos did not hold back when it came to expressing his confidence in his abilities. When asked about his upcoming bout with Davis, Kambosos stated, “You know, I’m a different level, man. I’m a different breed. I have the skill, I have the heart, I have the chin, I have the determination, I have the hunger. Everything that everyone else doesn’t have, I have. And that’s what’s going to bring me the win.”

At just 26 years old, Kambosos boasts an impressive 19-0 record, with 10 of his victories coming by way of knockout. While he may not have the same level of experience as Davis, Kambosos is confident that his youth and hunger will be enough to carry him to victory. He also points out that Davis has yet to face an opponent who is as technically skilled and prepared as he is.

Davis, who is widely considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world, has never lost a professional bout. However, Kambosos is determined to end that streak and make a name for himself in the process. When asked about Davis’ impressive record, Kambosos replied with a confident “F**k that sh*t.”

He went on to explain that he is not concerned with Davis’ record or his reputation. Instead, Kambosos is focused on doing what he needs to do to prepare himself for the fight. “I’m not worried about anyone else except for myself,” Kambosos said. “I’m doing my thing, I’m training hard, I’m getting ready, and I’m going to come out victorious.”

Kambosos also had strong words for Davis’ approach to boxing, which he refers to as “protecting the 0.” Davis has been known to take on opponents who are considered to be relatively easy wins, in order to maintain his undefeated record. However, Kambosos argues that this mindset is ultimately counterproductive.

“I don’t believe in ‘protect the 0,'” Kambosos said. “I believe in fighting the best, testing yourself, and becoming great. And that’s what I’m doing.”

With the fight scheduled for October, boxing fans around the world are eagerly anticipating what promises to be an intense and exciting match-up. Davis may be the favorite going into the bout, but Kambosos is not one to be underestimated. As he himself puts it, “I’m going to go out there and show the world that I’m the man. And I’m going to take out Gervonta Davis.”
